National Human Trafficking Prevention Month 2023

January is National Human Trafficking Prevention Month. Every year since 2010, the President has dedicated the month to raise awareness about human trafficking and to educate the public about how to identify and prevent this crime. The U.S. Department of State raises awareness of human trafficking domestically and abroad, through U.S. embassies and consulates.

During this month, we celebrate the efforts of foreign governments, international organizations, anti-trafficking entities, law enforcement officials, survivor advocates, communities of faith, businesses, and private citizens all around the world to raise awareness about human trafficking” (state.gov, Jan. 2023).

5-stones would like to take this time to draw attention to the human exploitation of our youth and those most vulnerable to the tragedies of the sex trafficking industry.

Our mission is to bring awareness and education to our citizens and youth by knowing the signs of trafficking, the types of predators, and ways to keep those we love safe from harm.

Please view the articles and items 5-stones has designated to help bring awareness of human/sex trafficking and wear blue on January 11, 2023, to support our mission.

5-stones will have a radio message for the month of January 2023 for National Human Trafficking Month, it will be done on WEMI 91.9 The Family.

We have also prepared a slide presentation with 11 slides for reference:
